Accessing Community Connections

For some getting out the home, into the community and being with others can make such a difference to enjoying life.

Community Connections is a unique social program, created to promote wellbeing while supporting people to live happier, and fulfilled, more connected lives.

Enrich has developed this popular program, drawing inspiration from what our clients have told us matters most to them – to build a great monthly menu of activities and adventures.

Participants are encouraged to suggest locations and activities they are keen to visit or try, while being able to choose from activities like historical tours, river cruises, nature walks, botanical gardens, weekends away, wine and food tours, theatre shows and even helicopter rides, for those seeking a bit more of a thrill.

All outings or events include:

  • Admission to all planned venues
  • Transport to and from the venue
  • Morning / afternoon tea and/or a light lunch
  • Qualified and friendly support staff to assist on the day

How to include Community Connections in your home care

The Community Connections program is currently offered in metropolitan WA, VIC, NSW and on the Gold Coast in QLD. You can book an event privately or through some Government subsidised home care programs.

You can also look to include Community Connections events in your home care package or through funding you might receive for home support through the Commonwealth Home Support Program.

Enrich Plus plans are also a great way to get regular Community Connections events included in your home care package.
