New brand ‘Enrich Living Services’ a welcome shift for Australia’s home care sector

Australian home care provider, St Ives Home Care has taken on a new name, look and direction, rebranding to become ‘Enrich Living Services’.

The new brand was initiated in response to changing market expectations within the home care sector, following the recent introduction of  consumer-directed care legislation. The philosophy behind Enrich Living Services (‘Enrich’) is a more flexible, relevant and client-guided service model that encourages and empowers people to enjoy life to the full, at all stages of life.

Enrich Chief Executive Officer, Norbert Walther believes the new name and brand will resonate strongly in a changing home care market. “We have spent a lot of time with our clients, talking with them and asking what matters most,” said Mr Walther. “Simplifying the decision-making process, supporting independence and enhancing life on their own terms, all came through very strongly, and these qualities are at the heart of the Enrich brand.” “We are proud to bring this new vision for home and aged care to life.”

Non-traditional approach

The shift to Enrich introduces a non-traditional approach to home and aged care. Choosing support is more simplified and precisely tailored to every individual. Clients can mix and match services to suit their stage in life, allowing them to make the most of what matters to them, while keeping things affordable and accessible.

Enrich consultants work with clients to create personalised plans. Fully-customisable services include lifestyle, companionship, house and garden care, and enriching community and social opportunities, as well as allied health, equipment, respite and clinical care.

Mr Walther said Enrich was supported by more than 20 years of professional home care experience through St Ives Home Care.

“Importantly, we have a strong history and capability that we are taking forward with our new brand,” he said.

“Enrich has allowed us to open up the conversation with our clients and their families, so we can see and understand the ‘big picture’ of individuals’ lives. We want to know what aspects make the biggest difference to their lives. This is reflected in the ‘Living Services’ part of our new name.

“We offer empowerment for our clients, so life can be enjoyable and meaningful. For many, that is not just about ‘being cared for’,” Mr Walther said.

Social connections

To provide opportunities for home care recipients to be socially active and maintain positive connections outside the home, Enrich offers a ‘Community Connections’ program – the only one of its kind in Australia. Run nationally, as a rolling social calendar, it gives clients the chance to venture out for day trips and excursions on a regular basis.

Fun-inspired itineraries (which vary monthly and by location), include restaurant lunches, river cruises, zoo trips, dolphin-spotting, sporting events, theatre shows, movie screenings, cultural and historical tours, and a range of other popular seniors’ social outings.

Rebrand facts

The new branding for Enrich Living Services now appears across all online platforms, including a new website – enrichtran.wpengine.com – as well as the company’s marketing, signage, vehicles and staff uniforms.

The name was selected after an extensive market research, client consultation and design process with leading Melbourne-based marketing agency, Traffic.

The rebrand follows the company’s separation from St Ives Group in July 2016, when three St Ives’ care businesses – St Ives Home Care, HomeCare Options and Community Care Services – were incorporated under Enrich Health Group, as a joint venture between Quadrant Private Equity and RAC WA. All three brands have been merged under the new Enrich brand.

St Ives Home Care has provided trusted in-home health, lifestyle and wellness support to older Australians since 1995. A nationwide team of more than 500 employees delivers thousands of hours of personalised support every month. The company is one of the largest private providers of home care packages nationally, operating in WA, NSW, QLD, VIC, ACT and NT.

Enrich is funded to provide services under a range of government-subsidised programs, including Home Care Packages, Veterans’ Home Care, the National Disability Insurance Scheme, the Commonwealth Home Support program and Transition Care Services.
